Beauty Contact has reported a strong sales performance from its flagship Cadillac range in Dubai Duty Free.
Three references from the range – Cadillac edt 100ml, Cadillac edt 50ml and Cadillac Black 100ml – were introduced in July 2011 in the travel retailer’s Terminal 1 store at Dubai International Airport.

“Our sales especially for Cadillac Black have been remarkable. We have our own promoter six days a week in Terminal 1 and he sells an average of around 10 bottles a day. About 80% of our sales in Dubai Duty Free come from Cadillac Black as it’s a fragrance that is well accepted globally,” said Beauty Contact Director Alwyn Stephen.
The company is hoping to have a presence for the brand in Terminal 3 as well, Stephen added.
The Cadillac portfolio is set for further expansion this year, with the launch of the new Cadillac Xtreme for men (pictured above) by the end of this month, as well as the Cadillac Black three-piece set in February. In April, the company will introduce the new Cadillac Coupe for men.
