Thierry Mugler updates Womanity fragrance with new Eau pour Elles

Thierry Mugler Parfums’ new edt interpretation of Womanity

Thierry Mugler Parfums has extended its Womanity feminine fragrance with a new scent called Womanity Eau pour Elles. The edt is described as a luminous, sparkling, fruity reinterpretation of the original edp.

The revamped juice – composed by Mane’s Christine Nagel and Serge Majoulier – features distinct fruity, sweet and savoury elements. The first comes courtesy of the juicy red notes of the Mara des Bois strawberry, while the inclusion of white fig delivers sweetness. The savoury signature is provided by a caviar note, which also featured in the original fragrance. The formula was again created using Mane’s molecular extraction method.

The original flacon has been revamped, with softer facets and silver accents. To symbolise the “renewed bond between women and the community”, the edt bottle is adorned with a new openwork metal ring, designed to evoke the continuing experiences of women. The chains that link the ring to the bottle aim to denote branches that unite women.

Like its predecessor, Womanity Eau pour Elles incorporates an eco-responsible approach which showcases the brand’s commitment to sustainable development. The box is made of recycled and recyclable cardboard – derived from renewed forests – without inserts or leaflet, to reduce packaging. The refillable bottle can be taken apart to facilitate recycling.

A new visual, shot by photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, has been created to support the launch. The visual – set to air in May – depicts three very different women who are nonetheless united by affinities and common interests, according to the brand.

Womanity Eau Pour Elles will be available as a 50ml and 80ml refillable natural spray, priced at around €59 and €79, respectively, and an 80 ml Eco-Source bottle (€59).
