Braun will present a wide range of consumer electronics, including a selection of classic clocks and watches, at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore next month.

Silk-épil 5 & 3 epilators
Braun’s new Silk-épil 5 and 3 epilators have undergone a design and feature upgrade to attain a more consistent look and feel for the total Silk-épil range. The new design is intended to appeal to a younger customer base.
Silk-épil 5 epilators have been upgraded to Silk-épil 7 technology – close-grip technology with 40 tweezers removes hair as short as 0.5 mm while the pivoting head adapts to body contours to reach stubborn hairs. The cooling glove prepares the skin while the high frequency massage rollers subsequently stimulate it for an extra-gentle epilation. The epilators are fully washable and the new power switch offers two speed settings.
Silk-épil 3 epilators also now boast a more sleek and modern design, with a newly added Smartlight to reveal fine hairs. Similar to the Silk-épil 5, there are two speed settings. Two massaging rollers glide on the skin and stimulate it before and after the hair is removed for a more pleasant sensation.
Multiquick juicers
Braun’s three premium Multiquick juicers have been touted as a new generation of kitchen appliances that are elegant and stylish yet practical. The trio has received the iF product design award and the German consumer award Kitchen Innovation of the Year 2012 for excellent design and ease of use, Braun said.
The juicers are available in three versions which are all equipped with a powerful motor and offer two speed settings for hard and soft fruits and vegetables. Thanks to the large 75 mm chute, whole fruits are easily processed. The fast juicing system fills a glass in just 15 seconds and the anti-splash spout ensures that the juice flows straight into the glass. The large 1.25 litre jug also has a built-in foam separator.
Oral-B Stages Power kids’ toothbrush
Stages Power features 9,600 side-to-side oscillations per minute which removes more plaque than a manual toothbrush, according to Braun. Its improved technology also helps to deliver consistent battery performance. The squish grip handle is specifically designed for small hands and the timer helps to brush for the dentist-recommended two minutes.
Stages Power is available in two colour variants for girls and boys.
Braun clocks and watches
Braun has recreated a selection of its best classic clocks and watches – produced under license by Zeon Ltd – in keeping with the high quality standards of the originals. At the same time, brand new designs on both watches and clocks have also been released.
As reported, Braun watches and clocks were awarded six iF awards and two gold iF awards at the annual ceremony in Munich on 9 February. Its first airline listings include Lufthansa, Condor and SWISS.
