The pack of six 330ml bottles of Peroni Nastro Azzurro designed for Dubai Duty Free |
SABMiller Travel Retail Duty Free, responsible for developing sales of SABMiller’s international premium beer brand portfolio in duty free, has launched its Italian brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro at Dubai Duty Free.
A pack of six 330ml bottles has been designed for Dubai Duty Free and is exclusively available at the Arrivals shops of Terminal 1 and 3 of Dubai Airport as of 1 July 2012.
SABMiller Travel Retail Duty Free Director Bart de Smalen said: “This is a major breakthrough for Peroni Nastro Azzurro in Dubai and for the brand in the global travel retail/duty free arena.
“Dubai Duty Free is the largest single airport retailer in the world, and for them accepting a premium and stylish beer such as Peroni Nastro Azzurro, means a lot to us. This is a great reference point and a key event for us.”
Peroni Nastro Azzurro has a presence in six continents. Key markets include Italy, the UK, Australia, US, and South Africa as well as Canada, the UAE, India, Russia, France, Spain, Japan and Hong Kong.
The Dubai Duty Free presentation comes in a specially designed pack with six bottles of 330ml. Peroni Nastro Azzurro is also available in draught form, and is best served chilled (3-5 degrees Celsius).
The brand holds strong appeal with 24 to 35-year-old men and women, according to SABMiller.
