Flemingo Duty Free is celebrating its first anniversary in Colombo |
SRI LANKA. Flemingo Duty Free is giving three passengers flying through Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport the opportunity to become millionaires as part a promotion with Johnnie Walker.
Launched at the beginning of the month and running until the end of January, the “Be a millionaire” promotion will also offer daily prizes of LKR10,000 and weekly prizes of LKR100,000.
It coincides with the first anniversary of the concession, which began trading on 25 November last year, and has also seen the Arrivals and Departure shops decorated with the millionaire concept.

Meanwhile, Flemingo is also running its GOLD promotion at five airports – Chennai, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Amritsar & Trichy – with Johnnie Walker, with one winner set to win 100g of gold at each of these airports.

Running until 15 January, there are also daily prizes of travel bags, iPod shuffles and discounts, as well as a weekly prize of an iPod touch 8GB, fortnightly prize of iPad 3 and monthly prize of Macbook Air. The stores have all also been decorated in gold theme to “create the retail theatre”.
Both promotions are open to travelers who spend US$65 or above at Flemingo Duty Free on Johnnie Walker products.
