Monte Carlo-based jewellery and watch specialist Misaki has announced a partnership with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.

“We are proud to donate a portion of total sales of our Shark watches to support the Foundation’s actions for marine life protection,” said Misaki Managing Director Philipp Wille.

The Shark Watch Collection, inspired by the graceful silhouette of the shark, is designed to pay tribute to the beauty of this mysterious creature, according to Misaki.

“Misaki has been working with natural materials for over 25 years; our pearl jewellery includes saltwater pearls such as the Akoya and Tahiti variety sourced from the oceans of our planet,” continued Wille.

“The sea has always been a historical source of inspiration for Misaki as demonstrated by our unique pearl jewellery and more recently the launch of the Shark Watch Collection. This led us to think about the increasingly alarming situation of our oceans and the species that inhabit them, particularly the shark.

“At the heart of this partnership lies our wish to share the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s commitment for the protection of our environment, particularly our seas and oceans. Moreover, the close proximity of the Foundation’s headquarters to our own naturally led us to this partnership.”

A limited edition of watches will be designed in collaboration with the Foundation and special pieces will be developed to raise funds for the Foundation.
