Hong Kong International Airport boosts luxury line-up with ten new brands

HONG KONG. Airport Authority Hong Kong has revealed ten new luxury brands that will open at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 by the end of 2014, with a number of them already in place.

The list includes Balenciaga, Blancpain, Bulgari, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Jaeger Le Coultre, Miu Miu, Moncler, Chanel and Tory Burch.

As reported, Chanel has opened its largest and only duplex store at an Asia Pacific airport, featuring a comprehensive selection of the brand’s signature handbags, fashion, accessories and shoes. Balenciaga has opened its first-ever airport store while Moncler and Givenchy have unveiled their first airport stores in Asia Pacific.

In addition, as reported, Harrods has opened its first store in Hong Kong, in partnership with King Power Group (HK).

Airport Authority Hong Kong Executive Director, Commercial Cissy Chan said: “For time-pressed travelers, it is HKIA’s aim to offer a wide variety of 33 high-end international brands in one convenient location in our East Hall. This special cluster of luxury-retail shops allows passengers, on tight schedules, to easily navigate and locate their favourite brands and enjoy a pleasurable and leisurely shopping experience.”
