J Cortès rebrands Neos 10 in newly launched The Flavor Collection

Belgian cigar company J Cortès has launched The Flavor Collection with an aim towards strengthening the brand identity of its ten-pack Neos range of cigarillos.

The Neos brand was born 20 years ago with the launch of Neos Mini, first introduced on the French market in carton packaging containing 20 cigars. A few years later the cartons were swapped for tins to better protect the cigars inside and preserve their taste.

Today Neos comes in a variety of tastes, created from the best Indonesian, South American and Caribbean tobacco – from traditional cigarillos carrying a Java Besuki wrapper for those who prefer a shorter smoke, to the modern flavoured cigarillos with filter.

Besides the various sub-brands – Mini, Feelings and Selection – Neos is also available in tins of five and ten, with the Neos 10 family performing especially well in export markets, sold in over 70 countries worldwide.

In an effort to promote a cohesive brand identity and unify the assortment, J Cortès has consolidated the Neos 10 range into a newly designed The Flavor Collection. The cigars within remain unchanged.

“By restyling this family while keeping the new design consistent, we aim to achieve more shelf impact and visibility,” the company explained.

J Cortès has been promoting the Neos 10 range in travel retail with the launch of a new flight pack comprising five tins of ten cigars. “Travel retail will be the only international retail channel to receive the Neos 10 family in this new flight pack,” the company said, adding that The Flavor Collection is an ideal complement to any travel retailer’s cigar range.
