Cloisonné Limited Edition takes inspiration from meticulous artwork prized by the Tsars of the Imperial Russian Court |
Russian Standard Vodka has announced the travel retail exclusive launch of its Cloisonné Limited Edition.
This is the third in the company’s series of sleeves celebrating classic Russian craft and takes its inspiration from the meticulous Cloisonné artwork, prized by the Tsars of the Imperial Russian Court in St. Petersburg.
Cloisonné, an ancient technique combining intricate metalwork with enamels and gemstones, was used mainly in jewellery-making and for decorating small objects, such as the famous Faberge Eggs created for the Russian Imperial family.
Russian Standard Vodka says its Cloisonné edition will reach stores in November and will be priced in line with Russian Standard Original.
An earlier sleeve in the same Russian craft series celebrated the rich artistic heritage of St Petersburg, the ‘Venice of the North’.
