The Rampur showcase at Delhi Duty Free spotlights Indian whisky on the travel retail stage

INDIA. Today’s selection of images comes from Indira Gandhi International Airport, where Rampur Distillery is celebrating the rich flavours of the Himalayas with an eye-catching display at Delhi Duty Free. The images were shared via LinkedIn by food & beverage company African + Eastern.

Travellers can now find Rampur Distillery’s collection of Indian single malts at the airport thanks to a partnership between Gulf Beverages, Radico Khaitan and Delhi Duty Free.

Leading the line-up is Rampur Barrel Blush, a refined single malt matured in American bourbon barrels and finished in Australian Shiraz wine casks.

Also featured are Rampur Jugalbandi #5 and #6, two expressions that explore harmony through distinct cask styles. Travellers can also discover Rampur Select – Delhi Duty Free Edition which showcases the brand’s signature smooth, fruity and spicy profile.

The space also highlights some of Rampur’s signature blends, including Rampur Asaya, Rampur Double Cask and Rampur Sangnam.

Rampur Asava is regarded as the world’s first Indian single malt matured in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks.

From Shiraz wine casks to Indian Cabernet finishes, Rampur Distillery highlights India’s growing reputation for cask innovation

Rampur Double Cask is matured in American bourbon and European sherry oak, while Rampur Sangam is fusion of world casks.

The whiskies are aged in the Himalayan foothills, where extreme seasonal variations – including intense summer heat – play a critical role in shaping the spirit’s maturation. This climate influence helps develop the bold and complex flavour profiles that define the Rampur range.

Rampur is produced by Radico Khaitan, one of India’s leading beverage companies and among the country’s oldest whisky distillers. Established in 1943, Rampur Distillery has over 80 years of whiskey heritage and expertise.

This latest opening underlines the growing presence of Indian single malts in travel retail and highlights Delhi Duty Free’s continued commitment to showcasing sense of place and homegrown spirits on an international stage.
