UAE. The world’s number one recording artist, Katy Perry, last night wowed an audience of over 3,200 at the Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner hosted by Dubai Airports, Dubai Duty Free and Emirates at the Atlantis.
The Moodie Report was in attendance as the star played an exhilarating 90-minute set featuring hits from her Prismatic Tour, including I Kissed A Girl, Roar and the hit single Fireworks as a firework display lit up the Dubai sky behind her.

Ms Perry continued a long tradition of stellar acts at the Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner, including Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Michael Bolton, Tom Jones, and George Benson. Dubai International has hosted other pop-up events, including an impromptu airport concert featuring Kelly Rowland. Dubai Airports is also an avid supporter of local classical music initiatives, including Choirfest Middle East.

Dubai Airports said that musicDXB sets a new standard for global travel by creating a platform which targets a multi-cultural and cosmopolitan audience of more than 79 million music lovers who pass through the world’s busiest international airport every year.
musicDXB will feature performances from global superstars, the hottest emerging international acts and up-and-coming local artists to entertain and engage passengers passing through Dubai International.
