Belgian chocolatier Leonidas has created a limited edition gift box to celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival of the Rising Moon in September.
The Mooncake Gift Box limited edition contains a ‘Coupes Selection’ of seven dessert pralines created by the Leonidas Maître Chocolatier: dark chocolate filled with almond milk ganache, marzipan and white chocolate; milk chocolate filled with praliné and caramelised nuts; dark chocolate with a zesty lemon cream and chopped hazelnuts; dark chocolate filled with white chocolate and coconut milk; milk chocolate filled with Tiramisu ganache and pieces of spicy Speculoos biscuit.

The centrepiece of the assortment is a handmade Mooncake, a circular confection made of traditional Leonidas dark chocolate with a Matcha Tea-flavoured milk chocolate ganache.
The red Mooncake Gift Box features traditional elements such as the rabbit and the character Chang E printed in gold.
Leonidas has also designed a selection of items for Christmas and Chinese New Year.
The red and white snowflake Christmas range includes a Leonidas Christmas Cube 200g containing individually-wrapped chocolate balls in three flavours: dark chocolate with a limited edition crème brulée ganache; dark chocolate with praliné; milk chocolate with hazelnut cream.
The range also features an Advent Calendar 300g filled with an assortment of 24 milk, dark and white chocolate pralines.
Christmas Ballotin Mixed Assortments (500g and 1kg), available in milk, dark and white chocolates, include pralines, caramels and ganaches presented in a seasonal wrapping paper and ribbon.
Travel exclusive Seasonal Gift Box 230g, containing 19 treats, a green Christmas Tree Gift Box with 15 assorted chocolates, and a Santa Christmas Tablet 75g complete the Christmas offer.
For Chinese New Year 2017, the brand has created a Leonidas Rooster Limited Edition 230g, which features an assortment of mixed chocolates with traditional pralines, ganache pralines and caramel chocolates.
