Paradies Lagardère brands Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon open at Asheville Regional Airport

USA. Hot pretzel store Auntie Anne’s and cinnamon roll retailer Cinnabon have opened at Asheville Regional Airport in North Carolina.

Both brands of North American travel retailer and restaurateur Paradies Lagardère, Auntie Anne’s has over 1,500 locations around the world and Cinnabon operates in more than 50 countries.

Auntie Anne’s got its start in 1988 when Anne Beiler bought a stand in a Pennsylvania farmer’s market. The latest store at Asheville Regional Airport is pictured here.

Cinnabon’s cinnamon rolls are available, along with Center of the Rolls, CinnaSweeties, and the new BonBites. Travellers can also buy Cinnapacks of four rolls, or a hot cup of coffee.

Auntie Anne’s offers its handmade pretzels in the classic flavour, along with others such as cinnamon sugar and pepperoni. Pretzel nuggets and pretzel dogs are on offer, along with its original lemonade, lemonade mixers, and bottled water.

The cinnamon for Cinnabon’s treats is harvested in the tropical rain forests of Indonesia.

Paradies Lagardère Dining Division President Regynald Washington said: “Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon are immensely popular, and the Paradies Lagardère Dining Division is excited to bring these concepts to the Asheville Regional Airport.

“Travellers coming through the airport can find delicious, familiar treats at both Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon, along with refreshing beverages and hot coffee for a fun pick-me-up.”

Auntie Anne’s pretzels are made from five simple, fresh ingredients.

Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority Executive Director Lew Bleiweis said: “With growth comes exciting new opportunities to provide amenities for our passengers.

“Paradies Lagardère has operated the Blue Ridge Tavern since 2011, and we are pleased to welcome their addition of Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon to the food and beverage offerings at AVL.”

Asheville Regional Airport has 19 non-stop destinations served by six airlines. The airport has recently celebrated its fifth consecutive record year of growth and exceeded one million passengers in 2018 for the first time in its 58-year history.
