GERMANY. SSP Germany will open a dean&david unit at Bremen Airport’s Terminal 1 this summer.
The chain offers food items (pictured below) such as Asian curries, soups, ‘good life’ bowls, wraps or grilled sandwiches based on fresh ingredients. Salads can be customised according to each customer’s individual preferences.

The location at Bremen Airport will feature an outdoor deck and a large windowfront creating a bright interior. SSP said it was aiming to create a “modern urban style” that would be designed to feature warm, natural colours and high-quality natural woods to complement the culinary offer.
SSP Germany will also update three of its existing outlets at Bremen Airport. It will expand the seating area at its Beer Bar Roland site, and will relaunch its Time Out snack bar and Kamps Backstube bakehouse with a modernised look and feel.
SSP Germany Head of Business Development Michael Glatz said: “We already have a presence at the airport with three F&B units, and dean&david is the perfect complement. We run the brand successfully at other transport hubs, and we’re confident it will be very well received by passengers at Bremen Airport.”
Bremen Airport CEO Elmar Kleinert said the dean&david opening represented “another step in establishing a ‘market square’ for the airport to meet the diverse demands of international customers”.
