UK. Lagardère Travel Retail is to open its first store at Aberdeen International Airport this Summer when it opens destination concept Discover Aberdeen.
The offer will feature a range of Scottish goods from local foods and whisky to Harris tweed. Aberdeen International Airport and Lagardère Travel Retail will also have range exclusivity for several brands at the new store including Stewarts of Scotland, Deans of Huntly shortbread, Steven Brown Art and Glen Appin.
Lagardère Travel Retail UK & Ireland Managing Director Marion Engelhard said: “We are thrilled to open our Discover Aberdeen store in Aberdeen International Airport and to welcome passengers with a new and vibrant concept.

Aberdeen International Airport Commercial Manager Jemma Cumming said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Lagardère Travel Retail to our airport. Work has been ongoing since 2019 to bring this concept into our extended airside retail footprint. Discover Aberdeen will be a great addition to our terminal and enhances the hard work we have done to get retail outlets reopened at the airport. This will create 11 local jobs which in great in the current situation and we are looking forward to celebrating all things Scottish at the new store.”
