GERMANY. French luxury leathergoods brand Longchamp opened its new 72sq m boutique at Munich Airport Terminal 2 on Wednesday, in partnership with Eurotrade, the airport company’s retail subsidiary. The store is located in the Gates H zone.

The boutique was designed along similar lines to the Longchamp flagship store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris with a “retro-inspired, open and bright” concept.
Longchamp Germany CEO Markus Wahl inaugurated the new shop alongside Munich Airport Senior Vice President Commercial Activities Rainer Beeck and Eurotrade Managing Director Sven Zahn.

Wahl said: “We are really pleased to open a very well-located store at Munich Airport Terminal 2, Non-Schengen level. This successful Longchamp boutique will appeal to customers from all over the world.”
Beeck said: “We are very pleased that the opening of the Longchamp boutique has added enormous value to the range of products on offer in our stores. Longchamp, with its exclusive items, is an excellent match that meets the quality expectations that passengers have of us as a five-star airport.”
Zahn added: “The Non-Schengen level in Terminal 2 is an ideal location for the Longchamp store at our airport, because we know that our customers from the Asian region certainly appreciate such an offer.”
