Duty Free Global (DFG) has been named as the global travel retail partner for super-premium gin producer, Silent Pool Distillers.
Duty Free Global will be showcasing Silent Pool Gin alongside its strong portfolio of independent spirits brands at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo. The brand representative will also be exhibiting at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
Silent Pool Gin is based in a former farm on the banks of Silent Pool, Surrey Hills, England. The company produces hand-crafted, full-bodied and fresh gin featuring 24 botanicals and a “symphony of flavours.”
The distillery was founded in 2014 by Ian McCulloch and James Shelbourne, who met in their local pub and set out to open a sustainable local distillery in Surrey Hills.
Some of the company’s noteworthy expressions include the Rare Citrus Gin, which combines some of the world’s rarest citrus fruits and Rose Expression flavour, which offers a range of floral notes.
Silent Pool Gin has won multiple spirits awards with the Rare Citrus Gin expression receiving the Gold award at the London Spirits Competition. It is also the first-ever spirits company to release a 100% recyclable cardboard bottle, with its Green Man Woodland Gin expression.
