CHINA. Hainan Tourism Investment Duty Free Co (HTDF) has introduced a wide array of new brands at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex (海旅免税城).

Since opening the store in late December 2020, HTDF has been steadily increasing the product range. It recently opened the first Hainan offshore duty free boutique for Italian fashion brand Diesel.
Other prominent brand additions include athletic apparel label Lululemon; Parisian jewellery house Korloff and Danish sportswear brand Hummel.
They are joined by high-end Belgian jewellery brand Derain By Wolfers and the globally popular Swiss gift, fashion and accessories label Victorinox.
The recent openings maintain the accelerating expansion of the retailer’s brand offer. As reported, August was a landmark month for HTDF as it introduced a flurry of fashion and high-end brand stores and added some 59 brands to its cosmetics and fragrance zone, ranging from niche cult favourites to high-end names.
Note: Look out for a world-exclusive interview with HTDF Chairman Xie Zhiyong coming soon.
