Jawbox small batch gin has secured a new listing with Dufry for its travel retail-exclusive Export Strength expression.
Jawbox is produced on a 300-acre 16th century estate in Northern Ireland, where much of the grain for the spirit is grown and harvested. Its gins are distributed by Kirker Greer Spirits.

Jawbox Export Strength is triple-distilled and features a combination of 11 botanicals, many of which are distilled in the ‘steep and boil’ method while three are put through vapour extraction to preserve flavours and aromas.
The spirit is bottled at 47% ABV – a higher ABV than other products in the Jawbox range – to offer a more intense expression, which is recommended for cocktails.

The black matt finished bottle has been designed to enhance on-shelf standout in travel retail.
Kirker Greer Spirits CCO John Soden said: “We are delighted to partner with Dufry on our Jawbox gin brand and bring it to the travel retail channel.
“Jawbox has been an extremely popular brand in our portfolio since its launch in 2016, with high demand across the UK, Europe, and Australia and we are delighted to see it gain further momentum in another critical channel for the brand.
“We look forward to working with the team at Dufry and building upon the success of Jawbox across their retail stores over the coming years.”
Jawbox celebrates its Belfast heritage, underlining its standing as a “city built on industry and inventiveness”, with “hard-working and practical” inhabitants.
The brand takes its name from the deep, boxy sink which was a feature of many Belfast households. The sink “became a focal point in many a kitchen – where most conversations took place” and, as the band points out, “it got its own nickname: the Jawbox”. |
As reported, other Jawbox expressions have featured through Dufry-owned World Duty Free at George Best Belfast City, London Stansted and Liverpool John Lennon airports. The brand was first listed at Belfast International Airport in 2017.

The Jawbox portfolio includes Classic Dry gin and Pineapple and Ginger and Rhubarb and Ginger gin liqueurs.
