UK. R&F Travel Retail last month expanded its duty free shop, previously touted as the world’s smallest, at Holyhead port in Wales.
The shop was tripled in size to 85sq m with the creative addition of two shipping containers. With a priority to focus on customers and enable ease of buying, the larger shop space brings a greater assortment of brands and products to customers passing through the port en route to Ireland.
Last week, R&F Travel Retail also added a new duty free shop at the Harwich International Port in England.
“I am really happy that we are growing our retail family, not only in number of shops but also when it comes to shop sizes. We have seen a surging demand for duty free products among travellers, and we are of course proud that we are now able to offer our customers even more bargains,” said R&F Travel Retail Head of Business Development Tony Michaelsen.
