CROATIA. Eyewear specialist EssilorLuxottica teamed up this summer with Lagardère Travel Retail to unveil the Ray-Ban ColorBlock pop-up at Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport
The animation ran from July until September highlighting Ray-Ban’s ColorBlock Capsule Collection. The collection comprises four jewel-toned sunglasses in transparent frames and bold colour combinations.
The pop-up featured eye-catching in-store displays alongside cutting-edge digital components.
By scanning a QR code, travellers were able to access a range of Ray-Ban-themed social media filters. They also received Ray-Ban ColorBlock bags as a gift with purchase.
In addition to the Capsule, Ray-Ban launched a travel retail-exclusive Wayfarer style in a semi-transparent grey frame with green lenses. Launched in 1952, the Wayfarer is one of Ray-Ban’s most memorable silhouettes.
“The Ray-Ban Wayfarer has become synonymous with summer,” commented EssilorLuxottica Head of Travel Retail Matteo Goi. “In partnering with Lagardère to highlight the ColorBlock Capsule Collection, we aimed to bring the colours, fun and fashion of summer to travellers.
“Lagardère shares our commitment to the acceleration of the sunglasses category, and we are proud to collaborate with them to take travellers on a physical and digital Ray-Ban journey.”
