Martell launches pioneering AI-powered shopping experience with Lotte Duty Free at Singapore Changi Airport

Martell turns on the power, AI-style, with Lotte Duty Free at the Singapore gateway

SINGAPORE. Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail today announced the opening of its first in-airport Martell AI-powered boutique.

The innovation is in partnership with Lotte Duty Free at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1. The 33sq ft boutique within Lotte Duty Free’s main T1 store hosts a range of immersive experiences and services for passengers. These include an AI Ambassador, fully-digitalised merchandising units, robot bartenders and VIP tastings.

One of the key interactive features is the ‘Martell Untouchable Taste’ tool. This guides shoppers through the Martell range and provides personalised tasting recommendations based on their preferences.

This recommendation is then sent to the Martell robot bartender, which proceeds to serve the desired beverage to the customer. Whether simply serving a Cognac neat, over ice, or in a cocktail, the aim is to give the passenger a memorable in-airport experience.

To celebrate the store opening, those shoppers who have pre-booked a tasting can receive a complimentary Martell cocktail glass when they spend more than S$150 (US$112.50)) from now until 28 February.
