Born in Grasse, raised in New York – Le Labo opens two fragrance labs in Hainan with CDFG

Fragrance brand Le Labo has gained a loyal fan base since its launch in 2006

CHINA. Luxury fragrance house Le Labo, part of The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), has opened two fragrance labs in Hainan in partnership with China Duty Free Group (CDFG).

The first is at the Global Beauty Plaza in Block C of the cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex (cdf Mall) in Haitang Bay and the second is at the cdf Haikou international Duty Free Shopping Complex in Haikou.

The two fragrance labs offer immersive olfactive experiences, which showcase the brand’s signature genderless perfumes, candles, body, hair and face products.

In Hainan, travellers can shop Le Labo’s most popular scents in a 30ml format and discover three candle expressions: Figue 15, Petit Grain 21 and Santal 26.

Customer can enjoy a bespoke and intimate shopping experience at both locations, including the opportunity to personalise their purchases with handwritten messages.

Le Labo’s Hainan expansion marks a milestone for the brand as it continues to spread its slow perfumery philosophy, artistry and craftsmanship to the world.

It is one of several beauty brands from ELC to open at the highly anticipated Global Beauty Plaza at the cdf Mall.
