Lotte Duty Free adds Ami Paris and Maison Kitsuné to online store offer

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has extended its online store offer with the launch of popular fashion brands Ami Paris and Maison Kitsuné.

The travel retailer has also teamed up with Kakao Pay to offer customers a chance to win tickets to the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship in Germany.

The move comes amid a steady recovery in global travel, with Incheon International Airport registering more than 5.7 million international passengers in February, up by more than +50% year-on-year.

As reported, the fashion brands made their Korean travel retail debut exclusively at Lotte Duty Free’s Myeong-dong flagship store in Seoul in September last year. The company emphasised the authenticity of its products, noting it is the only official travel retailer of the brands. Lotte Duty Free said it is the only Korean duty-free retailer to purchase the two brands directly from Samsung C&T Fashion Division, the official import source.

Ami Paris and Maison Kitsuné have become increasingly popular at Lotte Duty Free over the past two months, with year-on-year sales up by nearly +40% and +50%, respectively, the travel retailer said.

Founded by French designer Alexandre Mattiussi in 2011, Ami Paris has become a globally successful fashion brand, popular for its signature De Coeur logo

To celebrate the online store launch of Ami and Maison Kitsuné, Lotte Duty Free is hosting a first-come, first-served giveaway event. Ami shoppers who spend more than US$300 will receive stickers, a keychain for purchases over US$700, and a pouch for purchases of over US$1,000.

French-Japanese lifestyle brand Maison Kitsuné offers its popular collections, including apparel, bags and other fashion items

Shoppers who buy US$300 worth of items or more at Maison Kitsuné will receive a Café Kitsuné cup. An eco bag will be given away to those who buy items worth US$700 or more.

Ami’s new releases are available at the Lotte Duty Free online store, including short-sleeved T-shirts designed with the signature heart logo. These come in various colours such as beige, khaki and blue. The brand also offers classic shirts and business-casual wear.

The online shop also features Maison Kitsuné’s popular collections, including T-shirts and hoodies embroidered with its famed fox head emblem. Items include Double Fox Head, Baby Fox and Chillax Fox.
