UK. Halewood Artisanal Spirits has expanded its Dead Man’s Finger offer in travel retail with Blue Raspberry Tequila Cream Liqueur.

The expression will be introduced next month at UK airports in partnership with Avolta and supported by activations throughout the year.

Halewood Artisanal Sprits Global Travel Retail Director Eamon Prunty said: “The Dead Man’s Fingers brand was conceived to throw everything we associated with rum out of the window, rejecting tradition in favour of flavour.

“The incredibly rapid success of the brand has seen the portfolio expand, not just with an exceptional range of flavours, but also into another on-trend category: tequila creams.”

Tequila isn’t typically known for exotic flavors, much like rum. According to Halewood, Dead Man’s Fingers has shown that its Tequila Reposado works well as a base for cream liqueurs including Black Cherry, Mango, Strawberry and now Raspberry.

“With Dead Man’s Fingers we created a new flavoured rum sector that is proving to be a winner with travellers everywhere,” continued Prunty.

“Now we’re proving that flavoured tequila creams have the same appeal. Blue Raspberry Tequila Cream liqueur is selling well beyond our expectations on the domestic market, and we expect the new flavour to be equally popular with travelling consumers.” ✈
