Belfine showcases decorated chocolate lollipops at TFWA Asia Pacific

Belgian chocolate brand Belfine is introducing a tastebud-tempting new dimension to its range at this week’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore.

The company, renowned for innovative product lines such as its Unicorn and Dragon chocolate lollipops, is presenting two new multipacks – four-packs of Belfine Lovebear with a heart-shaped balloon and of Party lollipops, respectively.

Belfine is a Climate-Neutral organisation while its cocoa is sourced in a socially sustainable way.

‘Route de Cacao’, Belfine’s own programme, supports 112 cocoa farmers in the village of Tigorikro, Ivory Coast.

This programme aims to share value with the local farming community. The company has built a school close to the village, to ensure equal access to quality education; and a mill, to encourage the women of Tigorikro to set up their own businesses.

Every month Belfine checks up with a community head and two local families to see how its projects are advancing. Currently the company is collecting 150 used bicycles from its factory in Belgium to improve the mobility of cocoa farmers and their families.

Belfine said it aims to ensure its motto of ‘Let’s Make People Happy’ applies not just to end consumers but to every partner in the value chain, from cocoa farmers to retailers.
