AUSTRALIA. Sydney Airport has revealed a duo of food & beverage concepts for its International Terminal 1 casual dining precinct.
Gusto Pasta Bar and Lumos Bakery join the diverse selection of dining offers at the airport.
Serving fresh pasta made daily, Gusto features an array of dishes including classics such as carbonara, napoletana, bolognese and pesto.
Travellers are encouraged to create their own pasta dish from a range of proteins, vegetables and extras such as anchovies and capers, and chilli oil.
Gusto offers pizza by the slice, with toppings such as pepperoni, and more gourmet flavours, including mortadella and pistachio, and Mediterranean veggies with ricotta.
A range of pastries are also available including sfogliatelle, bomboloni (Italian donuts) and classic cannoli – along with speciality coffee.
Set to open in the coming months, homegrown bakery brand Lumos will offer café fare including sandwiches and acai bowls..

Sydney Airport Executive General Manager Commercial Mark Zaouk said: “We are so pleased to welcome Gusto Pasta Bar and Lumos Bakery to our T1 International Terminal food precinct, bolstering our casual-dining offer and delivering greater choice to customers.
“These new offerings will deliver fresh and delicious café fare and reflect our commitment to providing the very best in contemporary food offerings as Australia’s gateway.”
The openings reflect Sydney Airport’s commitment to innovating its airport F&B offers and meeting the diverse preferences of international passengers.
As reported, the airport recently added Betty’s Burgers and Luke Mangan’s offering Luke’s Bar & Bistro to its F&B line-up. ✈
