FRANCE. Lagardère Travel Retail has strengthened its leadership team by naming Michel Sibony as Chief Value Officer. Effective immediately, he joins the Executive Committee and reports directly to recently appointed CEO Frédéric Chevalier.
In his new role, Sibony is primarily responsible for supporting the operational efficiency of Lagardère Travel Retail, particularly through the development of synergies and strategic partnerships at both national and international levels. ✈
Duty-free sales nationwide fell sharply in May to KRW1,052,530,423,979 (US$774,478,719) despite a +5.77% year-on-year increase in monthly customer numbers.
The tender incorporates lots covering duty free (2,006sq m), food & beverage (1,314sq m), convenience stores (209sq m) and a business lounge (633sq m); available space will double when the terminal extension is completed by 2029.
