Guerlain expands skin and makeup offer with Abeille Royale Youth Repair Eye Care and Terracotta Joli Teint

Guerlain boosts its skincare portfolio with the launch of Abeille Royale Youth Repair Eye Care, a gel cream that targets signs of ageing around the sensitive eye area

Guerlain has extended its Abeille Royale skincare line with the Youth Repair Eye Care and reintroduced the Terracotta Joli Teint tinted moisturiser. Both innovations launch in global travel retail today (2 February).

Abeille Royale Youth Repair Eye Care was developed to offer enhanced care to the delicate eye area, which is more exposed to daily external stressors and has a reduced capacity for self-repair.

The smoothing gel-cream targets visible signs of ageing around the eyes. It combines a tightening complex with shaping active ingredients, including hyaluronic acid.

The refreshed Terracotta Joli Teint updates the brand’s tinted moisturiser, first introduced in 2014 as part of its wider Terracotta complexion portfolio.

The product is a lighter-coverage alternative to foundation, offering a bronzing, sun-kissed finish combined with skincare and protective benefits.

The formula contains 90% naturally derived ingredients and incorporates SPF 20 with PA+++ protection against UVB and UVA rays.

The new tinted moisturiser is positioned as a lighter alternative to foundation, combining a bronzing, sun-kissed finish with skincare-led benefits. It is available in five inclusive shades.

Terracotta Joli Teint includes echinacea extract for antioxidant and soothing properties, alongside argan oil, hyaluronic acid and ashwagandha. The formula is claimed to provide 24-hour hydration and wear, with clinical and instrumental testing indicating improvements in skin smoothness, pore visibility and brightness over time.

The tinted moisturiser will be offered in five buildable shades, designed to suit a wide range of skin tones. It comes in refreshed tube packaging incorporating the Terracotta line’s sun emblem and a golden cap.

The relaunch follows the introduction of the Terracotta Le Teint foundation collection in 2023 and Terracotta Le Teint Glow in 2025. It expands Guerlain’s Terracotta complexion line with a complementary tinted moisturiser format.
