UK. Following the launch of its popular Charmed watch collection, and in response to retailer demand, UK brand Accurist has introduced a new Autumn/Winter 2011 range including models with a lower entry price point.
Alongside the existing round-faced models, Accurist has added four beaded designs with oval-shaped faces in both East-West and North-South formats.

Lilac Glory, Purple Haze, White Delight and Enchanted are all silver plated with Swarovski crystal stones and mother-of-pearl faces. Compatible with all leading charm beads, these models will retail at between £90 and £135 in travel retail.
Also new is a premium range with enamel cases in four colours, including white and purple dials with hour markers. With silver plated case and bracelet, this line again has Swarovski crystal stones along with Swarovski pave beads and enamel beads plus stoppers. Travel retail price will be up to £110.
In response to demand, and to meet the needs of charter and low cost airlines, Accurist has also developed a new Beads and Bangles offer at entry price points of £50 to £85.
Said Accurist Sales Director Paul Halliday: “We’ve had incredible interest in the Charmed by Accurist concept and, from discussions, we became aware of the need for a line that would offer even greater value and attract a younger age group. We have therefore developed a Beads and Bangles range in three colourways.”
Featuring a stainless steel bangle with stoppers and Swarovski crystal stones, options include black and white mother-of-pearl dials with or without enamel interchangeable beads.
“Charmed by Accurist has been extremely successful and will feature in a major TV campaign later in the year which we are confident will have a knock-on effect within travel retail,” continued Halliday. “It’s been an incredible success story: having started with just two models, we will now have more than 20 options available by the end of this year.”
He added: “Charmed is proving a great gift and impulse buy item for travellers, particularly the holiday market sector, and we are confident our new entry price point line will assist us in further developing our distribution both with new partners and expanding our existing listed selections.”
