Aerotel unveils China’s largest in-terminal airport hotel at Beijing Daxing International

CHINA. Aerotel Beijing has opened at Beijing Daxing International Airport as the largest in-terminal airport hotel in China.

With 215 guest rooms, the two-storey hotel is located in the Northeast Pier and spans more than 9,000sq m.

Aerotel, which bills itself as world’s largest chain of in-terminal airport hotels, said the new development is part of its strategic expansion in China.

The chain is part of Hong Kong-based Plaza Premium Group, a provider of airport hospitality services and facilities in more than 160 locations of 44 international airports.

Plaza Premium Group Founder and CEO Song Hoi-see said: “We created Aerotel to take care of travellers needing a space to rest right at the terminal with no constraint on check-in time. Because of our uniqueness, we have already established the brand’s footprint in Asia, the Middle East, South America and Europe in four years.

Guest rooms at Aerotel Beijing include superior single, superior double, deluxe double, family room and accessible room.

Facilities include a fitness centre, a games room and a library lounge with 192 seats. The lounge offers an international buffet and an à la carte menu, featuring local cuisine.

There are also two meeting rooms and one VIP room, equipped with audio and visual systems. They have a capacity for up to 36 guests.

Aerotel’s expanding network includes international airport hotels in major world cities such as Abu Dhabi, Cebu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Muscat, Rio de Janeiro and Singapore.
