Aigner is gearing up for its 50th anniversary next year by launching a Facebook contest, asking people to tell them about their special moment with the brand on the social networking site.
The ‘Tell us your Aigner story’ contest invites Aigner fans to send a picture of them and their Aigner product along with their story via Facebook. A jury will select the ten best stories in June.
Winners will be invited to Munich for a photo shoot with a leading fashion photographer. The trip will also include flights and a stay in a five-star hotel.

Winning pictures will be published in the Aigner 50th anniversary book, coming out in 2015.
The brand was founded by Etienne Aigner in Munich in the 1960s, gaining a reputation for its Chianti red accessories in the 1960s and 1970s. Aigner has now grown into a global lifestyle brand that is sold in over 400 sales points worldwide. Since 2004, it has regularly presented at Milan Fashion Week (see the video below of this year’s show).
In 2012, Aigner celebrated another milestone for the company – 30th anniversary of exhibiting at travel retail shows, including the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, where the brand is a regular participant.
