Aigner’s Munich T2 shop covers 100sq m and features display windows spanning more than 10 metres |
GERMANY. Aigner, the Munich-based fashion brand, has reopened its boutique at its German home airport. The new shop concept in Munich Terminal 2 covers 100sq m and has display windows spanning more than 10 metres.
In addition to bags, belts, small leathergoods, luggage, shoes, scarves and ties, a selection of watches, jewellery and sunglasses is also available. The shop is located between Escada and Burberry in T2.
The revamped shop concept has base colours of warm grey and pure white. One eye-catching fixture is the belt stand made of polished, high-quality steel in the middle of the room. It stretches from the bottom to the ceiling and is designed to present the belts in a futuristic way.
The new lighting concept puts the finishing touch to the shopping experience.
On the opening day, 7 March 2008, customers were welcomed with a glass of Champagne and received an Aigner product as a gwp.

Aigner Duty Free Edition
Travellers can also purchase Aigner’s Duty Free Edition travel series which can be bought exclusively at all Aigner airport locations, including the new T2 shop.
New products have joined the company’s line-up of lightweight and flexible accessories which are foldable and space-saving, enabling easy storage.
The new duty free collection is presented in Aigner nylon-jacquard in two colours. The nougat-coloured version has dark brown leather borders, a beige seam and a light brown striped inlet. There is a black alternative with dark leather borders.
The spacious city-shoulder bag, the inside-out shopper in two sizes, as well as the shopper in the shape of a trapeze with magnetic catch, can be folded flat.
Other products include a unisex laptop bag and a document bag with shoulder strap. Interior pockets are suitable for a USB stick, key ring or ticket, and a bag charm with horseshoe design is attached to the luggage.
A beauty case and flat zipper briefcase are also available. In addition, a reversible lightweight hat provides protection from the sun and wind and can be attached inside or outside the bags via a carabiner clip.
