INTERNATIONAL. The ARC2011 Airline Retail Conference will take place at The Brewery venue in the city of London on 30 June and 1 July this year.
The organisers said they expected “over 400 senior delegates” to attend from airlines, concessionaires and travel retail suppliers, and said that ARC2011 was set to be the biggest event of its type ever staged.
The conference agenda – which will be announced in March – will respond directly to requests from delegates, added the organisers, to address the pressing concerns of the industry in the current climate.
The conference sessions will be supported by a 31-stand suppliers’ exhibition, giving delegates the opportunity to meet with new and existing suppliers and to find out about the latest innovations and product developments for inflight retail.
ARC Event Director Alex Vail said: “We are incredibly excited to be launching the London event for 2011. Last year’s event [at London Heathrow] completely sold out in a matter of weeks, so it was important for us to allow the event to expand this year.”
