HONG KONG. Airport Authority Hong Kong has opened two shoe shine kiosks at Hong Kong International Airport.
The service, a popular feature at many airports around the world, is located on Level 7 and operated by Hong Kong Shoe Shine Ltd.
Professional shoe shiners will recommend one of the following three services:
Standard Shine: 2 coats of polish for HK$55 (US$7.00)
Executive Shine: 3 coats of polish for HK$65 (US$8.50)
Imperial Shine: 4 coats of polish for HK$75 (US$9.50)
“This is one of those classic services that gives travellers a moment to sit back, relax, read a paper, or strike up a conversation about the news of the day,” said Airport Authority Hong Kong Commercial Director Hans Bakker. “We understand travellers’ needs, and we want to take every opportunity to make their experience at HKIA more memorable and enjoyable.”
