UK. Travel experiences leader Airport Dimensions and joint venture partner Swissport have opened their newest lounge at London Luton Airport, under the No1 Lounge brand.
Located airside next to Gate 17, the new lounge is accessible to Priority Pass and Lounge Key cardholders while less frequent travellers can pre-book their visit directly online.
The lounge has a 70-passenger capacity with a variety of seating options – from relaxation lounge chairs to quieter meeting zones. The space features expansive windows which offer natural light and airfield views.
A staffed bar serves a selection of premium beers, spirits and wines, while the culinary menu includes cooked and continental breakfasts, as well as an afternoon menu with vegan and vegetarian options.
The lounge’s modern design features a contemporary colour scheme, plush textures and sophisticated wallpaper. This is complemented by amenities such as Wi-Fi access, flight information screens, a television lounge, newspapers and magazines.
In 2024, Swissport will open the previously announced My Lounge at London Luton Airport. The partnership currently operates 13 airport lounges across Birmingham, London Gatwick and London Heathrow. These form part of Airport Dimensions’ global network of 52 lounges, with further plans for expansion at key airports over the next few years.

Airport Dimensions President EMEA & APAC Errol McGlothan said, “The opening of this fantastic new No1 Lounge at one of UK’s busiest airports marks another significant step on our journey to expand our presence and choice for travellers.
“We’re committed to continuous improvement in the experiences we’re creating, so every new lounge opening presents us with opportunities to strengthen and refine our offer.
“It’s been a pleasure collaborating with London Luton Airport in bringing this space to life. The design and proposition reflect the very best of our No1 Lounge brand. I’m looking forward to hearing some great feedback from guests and playing our part in making their journeys more enjoyable.”
No1 Lounges Managing Director Shaun Weston remarked: “We’re incredibly excited to bring No1 Lounges to London Luton Airport and to be expanding our UK network of lounges to 13, soon to be 14 (summer 2024) lounges across 4 sites: Gatwick, Birmingham, Heathrow and now Luton.
“The team we have built at Luton in recent months has been working hard to open this lounge ahead of the festive break so we can begin welcoming passengers.
“The lounge has been designed with No1 Lounge’s evolution, creating stylish and comfortable lounge experiences for those travelling through Luton Airport. Our signature service and variety of food and beverages are brought to this lounge to give travellers variety and choice. I’m looking forward to working closely with Luton Airport to help create memorable experiences for our guests.’’
London Luton Airport Chief Commercial Officer Jonathan Rayner commented: “The opening of No1 Lounge signals the latest exciting investment in London Luton Airport’s passenger facilities.
“Our aim is to provide a simple, friendly and enjoyable passenger experience. The arrival of this new lounge, along with next year’s My Lounge opening, underlines our commitment to providing first-class facilities and broadening the range of choice available to people flying from the airport.” ✈
