QATAR. Collinson company Airport Dimensions, a global leader in airport lounges and travel experiences, is approaching a significant milestone as it celebrates the one-year anniversary of its sleep ’n fly lounge at Hamad International Airport.
During the Sleep Lounge unit’s first 12 months, passengers have enjoyed nearly half a million hours of sleep, relaxation, or socially distanced space during their transit at the Doha travel hub.

Occupancy levels at the facility have grown to record levels every month in its first 12 months of operation, Airport Dimensions revealed.
The company acquired the sleep ’n fly brand in 2020 and opened its first non-traditional lounge featuring the concept at Hamad International last September.

The 50-bed sleep ’n fly Sleep Lounge offers single, couple and family pod and cabin options to suit a variety of passenger needs.
Airport Dimensions Managing Director (EMEA & APAC) Errol McGlothan said: “Demand for our game-changing sleep ’n fly Sleep Lounge remains high, and more passengers travelling to and from Doha are taking advantage of this unique, premium private space.
“Travellers are continuing to reduce touchpoints and remain socially-distanced during their journey, and this trend is set to accelerate as more people start returning to airports.”
He added: “Our Sleep Lounge is the perfect place for passengers to de-stress and rest in a safe and comfortable environment, and we’re looking forward to another successful year of enhancing the travel experience for global travellers.”
