The three-month chocolate promotion running at KLIA has boosted sales of Paton’s chocolates by +35% in the first four weeks |
MALAYSIA. A three-month chocolate promotion currently running at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has boosted sales of Paton’s chocolates by +35% in the first four weeks against the corresponding period last year.
The airside promotion started on 1 June. Choc Stop, the confectionery retailer run by Chocolate Sales & Supplies, employs the distinctive blue and gold Paton’s branding across the entire shop frontage and prominent displays of Paton’s Macadamia Royals.
Paton’s Macadamia Royals are premium quality toasted macadamia nuts dipped in toffee and coated in milk chocolate.
Customers are treated to special tastings of chocolate-coated macadamia nuts at the shop. They also get the chance to receive a free box of Macadamia Royals with every three purchased. Soft toys such as koalas and kangaroos are being given away with certain purchases of other Paton’s products.
International Sales and Marketing Manager Rob Paton said: “This Choc Stop promotion has really given sales a huge boost.”
The promotion runs through August.
