US/INTERNATIONAL. Alan Hairabedian has been named Executive Director, Demand Planning and Business Development at Estée Lauder Travel Retailing Worldwide.
This extends his current responsibilities, which include the company’s B2B initiatives, market intelligence and corporate trade advertising negotiations.
Estée Lauder Travel Retailing Worldwide President Olivier Bottrie said: “Alan will now lead our efforts in the critical area of Demand Planning, a vast and complex endeavour and a strategic priority for The Estée Lauder Companies. In this latter capacity Alan will report jointly to Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning, Travel Retailing Worldwide Ron Norris and, Vice President, Global Demand Planning Eileen Feeley.
“Alan’s direct reports include Anne Chang, Director, Demand Planning, Travel Retail Worldwide, and her team, who are responsible for the Estée Lauder, MAC, Bobbi Brown, La Mer, Jo Malone and Tom Ford Beauty brands; and Andrew Yin, Director, Demand Planning, Travel Retailing Worldwide, and his team, covering the Clinique, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, Origins, Darphin and Beauty Bank brands.”
Hairabedian joined the Travel Retailing team in 1999 as Director, Fragrance and Skin Care Marketing, and was promoted to Executive Director, Corporate Initiatives and Business Development in November 2004.
Before joining the company he held various marketing positions at Maybelline, Lancôme and Borghese, bringing to The Estée Lauder Companies both international and North American perspectives.
Hairabedian holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA from Colgate University.
