Buyers from the Americas are set to experience a cocktail of colour expertly mixed by the British liqueur specialist during the IAADFS duty free show |
UK. Alizé International is introducing at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas two exotic liqueurs which are taking the Asian markets by storm: Café Bohême and Alizé Bleu (Booth number: 211, Actium LLC).
Targeted at the cocktail market, Alizé Bleu is a bright blue-coloured blend of premium French vodka and Cognac, tropical passion fruit, cherry, ginger and exotic fruit juices. At 20% abv it is stronger than its predecessors – Alizé Gold, Alizé Red and Alizé Wild Passion.
Alizé Bleu was launched in Asia last spring and is proving a hit in key markets such as Bangkok and Singapore Changi Airports where it is displayed on eye-catching units with contemporary visuals in bright colours under the catchphrase “˜”˜New Generation Spirit – mix it with friends whatever your style”.
Explaining why the liqueurs have been so successful, Alizé International Managing Director Lewis Johnstone said: “The key to success with the Alizé liqueurs is the tasting. Unleash these exotic fruit, Cognac and vodka liqueurs on the travelling consumer, mix up some glamorous cocktails and a spritzer or two and they are hooked. They just love the taste and the versatility. And the potential for extravagant and bewitching cocktails is endless, which makes them perfect for cool bars and nightclubs.”
In contrast to the vibrant colours of the tropical fruit liqueurs, new Café Bohême is a rich, dark blend of premium French vodka and espresso coffee with a hint of vanilla and a smooth, creamy texture.
Slightly sharper than traditional cream liqueurs, Café Bohême (16% abv) has rapidly gained travel retail market share since its launch last year.
It has been received enthusiastically by duty free retailers in Bali, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.
