INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Davitt Report Predictor Contest for the Women’s Euros football tournament reaches its crescendo this weekend and it’s set to be as nail-bitingly close as the match itself with just one point separating the top five.
Our contest is sponsored by Strange Nature gin of New Zealand, a great supporter of women’s sport and the travel retail channel.
Front-runner Philippe Jamme of Marchesi Frescobaldi has taken a narrow one-point lead over the fab four, James Kfouri of Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, Inside the Cask’s Andre De Almeida, Coti Vision’s Julie Hawkins and Peter Jacobson of PJ Business Consultancy.
As England’s Lionesses take on Spain’s La Roja on Sunday (27 July), who will take the spoils in our hotly contested predictor contest?

Please make your prediction ahead of the final, which takes place on Sunday (27 July).
The following prize monies will be awarded to the winning entrants’ chosen women’s charities:
- 1st – US$300
- 2nd – US$150
The winner will also receive a bottle of the outstanding Strange Nature Gin, whose spirit base is drawn from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Penalty Shootouts
When a penalty shootout occurs, the penalties scored will count for the result, but not for the final score.
Therefore, if a prediction was made that Team A will win the match, then 1 point will be awarded if Team A wins on penalties.
However, if a draw was predicted and the match is drawn after extra time, the player will receive either 1 point for predicting a draw but the wrong score, or 3 points for predicting a draw and the right score, irrespective of whichever team proceeds to win on penalties.
The contest, open to anyone involved in the aviation, travel retail, airport F&B and lounges and hospitality sector (mandatory) and free of charge to enter, is based on match predictions for the 16-team UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 tournament, running 2-27 July in Switzerland.
The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to continue our support for women’s sport by hosting the competition. ✈
Entry rules
The rules of the contest are simple.
Entrants receive 3 points for an exact score prediction or 1 point if they correctly guess the result (win or draw).
If two or more players are tied on points at the end of the competition, the differentiators will be as per the following:
- Number of Correct Scores
- Number of Correct Results
- Tournament Winner Prediction
