US. Ammex Detroit Duty Free is exhibiting the winners of the Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition until October 2009.
This exclusive exhibit coincides with the launch of Ammex’s new border store on 1 April in Detroit, Michigan, said to be the busiest Northern American land border crossing between Canada and the US.
Ammex Detroit Duty Free is under the same ownership as Ambassador Duty Free in Canada and the International Bridge that borders Detroit and Windsor, Ontario.

The Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition challenged emerging artists to interpret the classic martini glass in their own styles, drawing inspiration from the Bombay Sapphire gin brand.
The competition was open to all designers of legal drinking age, with a maximum of three years post graduation working in the design industry.
Finalists were chosen by a panel of renowned design experts. Entries are judged according to functionality, innovation, aesthetics and inspiration from Bombay Sapphire.
