NETHERLANDS. Schiphol Airport Retail has partnered with Parisian pastry company Dalloyau to open a macaron pop-up store at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Located in Lounge 2, the store offers a wide range of macarons with flavours such as salted caramel, lemon and pistachio, packaged in fine gift boxes.
Dalloyau has a royal gastronomic heritage dating back to the French court. Spotted by Louis XIV in 1682, the Dalloyau brothers were named “˜Officiers de bouche’ – the highest French gastronomy distinction at the time – and served the Versailles court up until the French revolution. Over the years, they ensured that the know-how was shared with all the gourmets, in France as well as abroad, according to Schiphol.
The Dalloyau macaron is made from a recipe ranging from “traditional flavours to revisited classics”. The macarons are crafted with high quality ingredients and 100% natural colourings by Dalloyau’s pastry makers.
