HONG KONG. DFS Group Vice President Global Business Development Andrew Ford has decided to leave in mid-July after nine years at the company to pursue other interests.
He will continue to work with DFS on a number of projects.
Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development Jim Beighley said: “Andrew joined DFS in his current role in 2006 and has progressively taken on leadership of this DFS corporate function. During his career, he has made substantial contributions to developing new markets for DFS, particularly in Asia and including our expansion into the Middle East and India. He has also been instrumental in managing DFS’ relationships with key industry associations.”
Ford holds a number of representative positions with the Airport Council International’s (ACI)’s World Business Partner programme; is a Regional Board Director of ACI Asia Pacific and is Board Director and Secretary of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA).
“DFS looks forward to working with Andrew in the future through these organisations and other endeavors that he will be pursuing,” said Beighley.
Following Ford’s departure, Director Strategy and Business Development Megan Chong and her team will be reporting to Beighley.
Please join me in wishing Andrew all the best in his future endeavors.
