UK. Lingerie specialist Ann Summers has opened its first airport-based store at Gatwick Airport. The North Terminal shop offers a range of products including swimwear, lingerie and toys.
The brand said the store’s experiential concept aims to attract new and returning customers. Ann Summers operates 113 stores in the UK. The company said that the new store will make the brand more accessible to international travellers.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “This is a really exciting moment for Ann Summers. It will be our first airport store experience. We feel so lucky to work in such a well-known location and will strive to provide customers with great products and the best in-store experiences.”
Gatwick Airport Business Development Manager Retail Denise Weekes commented: “At Gatwick, with our passengers jetting off year round to a variety of climes, we have a high demand for swimwear from our passengers throughout the year.
“Ann Summers, with its extensive range of swimwear and lingerie, is a great addition to the year-round offering at Gatwick.”
