INTERNATIONAL. Welcome to the March edition of our popular pictorial series, which highlights the key images of the month in travel retail.
In this edition, we take a closer look at Beijing Capital International Airport’s new Terminal 3, a massive project both on an architectural and retail level. The Moodie Report took a tour of the new facility led by Global & Beijing International Co (GABICO) and Beijing Capital Airport Commercial Company (ACT) management, partners in the execution of the terminal’s spectacular commercial offering.
Also included in our picture gallery are snaps of key openings in March, including the highly anticipated London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 as well as the inauguration of Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
DFS Group also revealed details of its latest ambitious project – DFS Galleria Macau – in a major press event led by Las Vegas Sands Corp Vice President, Retail Development Asia David Sylvester and DFS Hong Kong Managing Director David Charles.
We conclude the month’s images fittingly with the international roll-out of Bombay Sapphire Revelation, the remarkable US$200,000 a bottle ultra-luxury project unprecedented in travel retail.
