The new Arzy Woolly pashmina |
URUGUAY. Arzy Style, the Uruguay-based accessories company, has unveiled new handcrafted product lines following its successful showing at the 2010 IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas.
The new Feelings Collection by Arzy Style consists of a pashmina, along with a number of leather jewellery lines.
The Arzy Woolly pashmina, measuring 70in x 20in, is made from 100% fine wool and is completely handmade in Uruguay.
The reversible lightweight scarf is offered in a classic mix of brown and pink, brown and light blue, and a brown and gold knitted pattern, and has a fine texture and feel. It can be worn around the neck or wrapped around the shoulders as an evening wrap.
New leather jewellery lines
Among the new jewellery items from Arzy Style is the Emotion women’s bracelet, crafted by hand in leather. It measures 7in, 8in and 9in long and 3in wide.
The leather bracelets close with a routine fold-over grip and are available in black, brown, white, grey and red.
Depending on the leather colour, the chains come in silver or gold. The chains are designed to move freely and rotate slightly with the wearer’s wrist movement, creating a eye-catching effect. The clasp is gold or silver-plated.
Also handcrafted in Uruguay, the leather Passion necklace (27in long, 3in wide) closes with a chain. Designed to be lightweight, it is offered in black, brown, white, grey and red.

Depending on the leather colour, chains colours come in silver or gold. The necklace is further enhanced with chains that highlight the leather strips and move freely with the wearer’s neck movement.
Success after IAADFS show
Arzy Style displayed its colourful range of woollen scarves at the 2010 IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas. The woollen strands are all woven into place by hand by a highly skilled workforce in Uruguay.
Arzy Style Director Adda Rodriguez told The Moodie Report: “After IAADFS we exported to the Caribbean, Argentina and Brazil and we are bit by bit doing great with the support of our clients and press. We have great hopes of continuing to expand internationally. Customers loved our 100% handmade and unique products and are asking for more variety.”
The three-year-old company has distribution points in airport stores in Uruguay and in neighbouring South American countries.
