Asia Pacific travel retail’s largest Chanel Winter Tale podium launched with Shinsegae Duty Free at Incheon Airport

SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free, in collaboration with Chanel, has introduced a 142sq m Chanel Winter Tale podium at Incheon Airport Terminal 2.

It is the largest Chanel Winter Tale activation in Asia Pacific travel retail.

This marks the second successive annual collaboration between Shinsegae Duty Free and Chanel.

The 2024 Chanel Winter Tale holiday “recreates a whimsical world straight from the heart of Chanel, offering a magical holiday experience for travellers,” Shinsegae Duty Free said.

The event opened on 29 October and runs to 26 December.

Travellers can explore a curated selection of beauty products, including fragrance gift sets, premium skincare lines, and limited-edition makeup “inspired by the iridescence of the aurora and the delicate beauty of snowflakes”, Shinsegae Duty Free commented.

The assortment is highlighted by Les Exclusifs de Chanel, a collection of premium perfumes available only at select locations.

Visitors can experience a curated range of women’s and men’s scents, including the amber-toned Coromandel, the white musk-infused 1957, and the amber-red notes of Le Lion.

To enhance the holiday spirit, Chanel has also prepared an array of interactive experiences. A photo zone featuring AR technology allows visitors to capture the excitement of travel with snowy backdrops, while a personalised wish card printing station lets travellers send messages to friends and loved ones.

Additional services include makeup demonstrations, product consultations  and exclusive gifts with purchase for those who book in advance.
