Avolta celebrates food & beverage openings at Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal A

This article forms part of a series on Abu Dhabi International Airport’s magnificent new Terminal A, which began operations on 1 November.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie visited the terminal in late November both on a guided basis and separately as an unencumbered passenger.

His interviews with key stakeholders, including Abu Dhabi Airports leadership and management, concessionaires and designers, will be published over coming days and weeks.

These will culminate in an exclusive eZine post the 9 February 2024 official inauguration, designed to capture the enthralling narrative of this extraordinary project.

Avolta’s extensive F&B footprint builds on a successful partnership with Abu Dhabi Airports. The company aims to satisfy the needs of a diverse range of palates by combining globally recognised brands with more niche, artisan offerings.

  • Jones the Grocer, an Antipodean gourmet deli serving tapas, mezze and picnic-style snacks alongside cheese, wine and coffee 
  • Puro Gusto, a contemporary Italian coffee house offering snacks, pastries and paninis 
  • Taste of India, vibrant street food inspired by the busy streets of Delhi 
  • Shawa, authentic Lebanese rotisserie Shawarma and homemade lemonade with mint 
  • Brioche Dorée, French-inspired delicacies from baguette sandwiches to croissants and crêpes  
  • Vit, a healthy, all-day fresh juice, smoothies and wholefoods bar 
  • Urban Food Market, simple grab-and-go choices from deli sandwiches to yoghurt, crisps and confectionery
  • Bottega, Venetian-style lunches and aperitifs  
  • Café Flor, on-trend cocktails and health-focused dishes  
  • Pana Bar & Eatery, cocktails, gluten-free options, flatbreads and funky décor  
  • The Daily, quick bites on-the-go  
  • Pier-D, casual gourmet with a sporty ambience 
  • McDonald’s, classic burgers, vegetarian options and fries from the popular fast-food chain. 
In a moody and romantic setting, Bottega offers Venetian-style sharing platters, long lunches and aperitifs

Avolta’s new F&B offers sit amoung luxurious lounges, relaxation zones, art galleries and spectacular installations and spa facilities, all designed to enhance the overall travel experience.
