The FAB Conference & Awards event, hosted by Dubai Airports, takes place on 1-3 October at the stunning Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. The event includes a welcome party and a two-day conference. The awards ceremony will take place on 2 October during a glittering gala dinner sponsored by HMSHost.
The FAB awards exist to champion excellence in the flourishing travel food & beverage industry. We invite airport and railway operators, concessionaires and brands to nominate outstanding F&B offers. The deadline for entries is Friday 12th July 2013 and further details on nomination procedures and the FAB Conference can be found on the website.

The FAB Conference and Awards attracts senior representatives from the world’s leading airports, railway station operators and F&B concessionaires to network with industry peers, share insights and celebrate best practice in this fast-growing sector. Platinum sponsors of the event are leading travel food & beverage operators SSP, Emirates Leisure Retail & Maritime Mercantile International, and HMSHost (gala dinner). Other sponsors include OTG Management and Travel Food Services.
Following the success of last year’s event at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam, FAB 2013 promises to be an extraordinary celebration of the best in travel dining.
“On the evening of 1 October guests are welcome to a fantastic opening party with breathtaking views of the Marina skyline,” added Moodie. “Over the following two days the FAB Conference will seek to promote excellence in the consumer offer; debate key industry themes and challenges; and help grow the business for all stakeholders.”
